Dipika Kakar gets discharge from the hospital after 11 days post her liver tumour surgery; Shoaib Ibrahim shares ‘There are a lot of things ahead’

Popular television actress Dipika Kakar has been discharged from the hospital after spending 11 days recovering from her major liver tumour surgery. In their latest vlog, her husband Shoaib Ibrahim updated fans about Dipika’s health and shared glimpses of the tough journey they have both been navigating.


Dipika, who underwent a 14-hour surgery for stage 2 liver cancer, is now stable and recovering at home. Sharing his emotions, Shoaib revealed, “She got discharged after 11 days and has to come for a check-up after a week. These past few days have been incredibly difficult for me and my family, but we’re thankful for everyone’s prayers and support. This is just one part; a lot of things are still ahead.”

Following her discharge on June 12, Dipika finally reunited with her son Ruhaan and other family members, marking a joyful yet emotional moment. Shoaib shared how he had been staying on a couch in the hospital for the entire 11 days, offering constant support to Dipika. He also mentioned that he delayed uploading the vlog earlier out of respect for the victims of the Ahmedabad plane crash, extending his condolences to the affected families.

Earlier, Shoaib had posted emotional moments from the hospital, showing Dipika walking, eating independently, and slowly returning to her regular routine. “She is on a regular diet and gradually recovering. She will soon be appearing in my vlog again,” he assured fans.
