Dipika Kakar expresses gratitude amid breast cancer surgery; says, “The love I received in the hospital, I can’t describe it in words”
Dipika Kakar made headlines when she opened up about her stage two breast cancer diagnosis. The actress recently appeared on a podcast with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa where she spoke about her journey, surgery, and much more. Dipika expressed gratitude for having access to healthcare and proper treatment.
She shared how her perception towards life has changed and how she’s been feeling extremely grateful since the surgery. The actress even shared her experience from the surgery and mentioned how she received immense love and support.
She said, “After my entire surgery experience, the level of gratitude I feel for everything in my life has completely changed. You know, as I said, I’m surrounded by love. I have a happy family, food, a home. There are so many people who are struggling, and for them, even getting access to treatment is a big thing. Realising all this in life has been huge for me. And the kind of love I received in the hospital… I can’t even express it in words.”
Dipika recently visited the hospital and shared an update with the fans. She mentioned how the reports are normal but there’s always a constant fear. The actress said, “I just want to share this with all of you. I know so many people are dealing with situations far more serious than mine, and even your families might be going through tough times. All I want to say is, don’t give up. Choose life. Choose happiness. Face everything with strength, and hold on to your faith in God. That’s all.”
