Dipika Kakar converting to Islam, fighting trolls disrespecting their families; times when Shoaib Ibrahim and she stood by each other through thick and thin

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are celebrating four years of togetherness today (February 22). The couple has been married since 2018 and their love story is an inspiring one. Over the years, Dipika has overcome her troubled past, and found love in Shoaib Ibrahim and it has only been happy times together. After taking to vlogging, Dipika and Shoaib Dipika Kakar launched their production house and will soon come up with a music video. The actress got tears in her eyes as she asked her sister-in-law Saba (Shoaib's sister) to join them on stage and share her thoughts about the song. Saba was all praise for her bhai and bhabhi and revealed that they have worked day and day out for the song. Dipika also mentioned that they wore their wedding outfits in the song.

Dipika not only catapulted to fame with Sasural Simar Ka but also found the love of her life in co-star Shoaib Ibrahim. Even though the two didn't fall for each other instantly, their friendship blossomed into love after he left the show. Shoaib and Dipika got married on February 22, 2018 in the former's hometown, Maudaha city.

The couple is very supportive of each other and is going steady in their relationship. Dipika shares a very strong bond with Shoaib's family and is in fact the heart of the family. They take several vacations together with the families and in their vlogs it can be seen that everyone dotes on her.

Dipika did reveal this in an interview to ETimes TV post marriage saying, “Joh sach hai woh hai...It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, I don't think it needs to be talked about. It is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media.” She had added, “I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were not to hurt anyone. This is my decision.” She has taken the name of Faiza.

Dipika and husband Shoaib were furious over trolls, who spoke against their family and passed negative remarks against them. They slammed the trolls who questioned Dipika's in-laws for not giving them a space and treating her like a maid. Dipika looked very angry in the video and blasted people who sent them negative comments, Dipika said, “Ladkiyaan kehne ke liye kehti hain mere father-in-law is my father toh usko haq bhi nahi hai ke uske father-in-law usko beti pyaar kare waise. Mere father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law treat, love me as the daughter of the house. If your father-in-law gets discharged from the hospital after battling for life, won't you offer your bed to him. Who are you to point fingers at me and my family and call me bechari? Who are you to call me bechari.”

Dipika and Shoaib shower each other with a lot of love and respect. Gifting each other on special days, their candid and effortless chemistry, constantly singing praises for each other to teasing each other, the couple’s transparency is all about #relationshipgoals. You would only learn from them.

Dipika married pilot Raunak Samson in 2011. However, the two separated in 2015 owing to personal and compatibility issues. This is Dipika’s second marriage and Shoaib and his family has accepted her whole-heartedly.

While talking about her struggles, Dipika had once revealed that she used to walk several kilometres to refill the mini stove she had. This was when she had not made a name for herself in Mumbai.
