Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim open up about their son Ruhaan's reaction to her cancer diagnosis; say 'Mumma theek nahi hai, woh samajh gaya hai'

Television actress Dipika Kakar shared an emotional update on her Instagram last night, revealing that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, followed up with a video on his YouTube channel, where the couple spoke about the difficult phase they are currently facing. In the video, Dipika also opened up about how their two-year-old son, Ruhaan, has been responding to her health issues.Dipika and Shoaib urged fans to keep their son Ruhaan also in their prayers so that he can handle the phase strongly. Dipika went on to share how their two-year-old son Ruhaan is handling the situation. She described him as “samajhdaar,” (sensible). Shoaib revealed that Dipika has not been feeding him and Ruhaan now understands that she is not keeping well, so he doesn't ask for feeding.Shoaib said, "His feeding has completely stopped." Dipika added, "Mumma theek nahi hai, woh samajh gaya hai. Ek aadh baar din me aake woh bolta hai mujhe, par woh samajh gaya hai. But yes, sab log hain. She then took a deep breath and a long pause and revealed that the tumor is second stage malignant. She said, “Joh tumor hai usmein second stage ka cancer hai.” Shoaib shared that tough times come in everyone’s life, and right now, they are facing the most difficult phase of theirs. However, he remains hopeful that they will overcome it. Dipika, too, expressed her faith in the medical team, saying that the doctors are confident about a full recovery. “They are sure this can be treated easily, and I completely trust them,” she added.
