Aashika Bhatia entered Bigg Boss OTT 2 house a few days back as a wild card contestant and a lot has happened so far. Aashika, who is a part of the show hosted by Salman Khan, has a previous connection with him.
Aashika has done many TV shows in the past as a child actress and adult. But not only this, Aashika featured in film. The actress played Salman Khan’s half sister in Sooraj Barjatya’s film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. In the 2015 film, Aashika had played the role of Rajkumari Radhika Singh. Salman, who played the role, Yuvraj Vijay Singh, was seen as half-brother to Aashika.
The film also starred Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others.
Talking about Aashika, she has been a part of several television shows like Parvarrish, Meera, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi and more. The actress faced health issues post which she became active on social media as an influencer. She posts a lot of dance videos with choreographers and also Bollywood celebs.
Aashika entered the reality show along with Elvish Yadav as wild card contestants. Before entering the show, she had made a post on social media hinting at a ‘Bigg change’ in her life. Soon, she entered the house and it has been quite a challenging journey for her.
The actress spoke about facing body-shaming comments and had a massive mental breakdown in the show as she was called ‘zero’ and ‘non-active’ by many of the contestants in the house.
