The first casualty on 'Bigg Boss 12' is the pair of Delhi girl and GST inspector
Kriti Verma and Kolkata’s Roshmi Banik, evicted after just two weeks of stay. The girls, who didn’t know each other before the show, entered as a jodi and feel that it could be one of the reasons they didn’t last. Kriti tells us, “It was a drawback for us that we didn’t know each other as other jodis had better understanding.
But we still gave our best and it’s unfortunate that we couldn’t stay for long.” Both the girls say the elimination is a shock. “I am upset and it hasn’t still sunk in,” says Roshmi. Kriti adds, “I’m upset too, but at least I had a good experience.”
Kriti, who grew up in Delhi and graduated from Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology in Janakpuri before moving to Mumbai two years ago, feels they were undone by just one mistake. “We were criticised for our conduct as captains inside the house. Some felt we were too rude and not good captains. But it was our first time in that role so we could have been given a longer rope,” she says. “Every captain makes mistakes. I was shocked that we were punished for one unfortunate incident and that too when we were both being liked inside the house,” echoes Roshmi, a businesswoman from Kolkata.

Kriti adds that while they had a good stay in the house, they feel some people in the house – particularly celebs – put on a face for the camera. She says, “They show that they care, but they actually do not. On the show, Karanvir said we strategised and discussed the eviction with him, but we did not. Nothing like that happened. I just had a conversation with him like a friend, or a fellow inmate, rather.” The two girls now want to take a break and then stay in Mumbai to try their luck in the entertainment world. “We both are young, talented, and as far as we think, good looking too. So we will find work here,” says Roshmi. In fact, Kriti says she has no plans of returning to Delhi anytime soon. “I don’t miss Delhi. Main toh chahti hoon ki Mumbai mujhe apni jaan bana kar yahin rakh le,” she says.
