Deepika Singh bereaved

Deepika Singh, who plays Sandhya in the TV show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', lost her grandfather, who she fondly called Bawahi recently. She rushed to Delhi to be by his side for a few hours after he had slipped into coma. Hoping that he would get better, the actress returned to Mumbai the same night as she had to resume the shoot the next day.

Unfortunately, he passed away and despite being close to him, Deepika couldn’t make it for his last rites.However, the production house has given her time off in the next few days to be with her family.
