Darshan Gurjar, who is currently seen playing the character of Chirag Patel in Pushpa Impossible, reveals that he gave up on his dream to study abroad after landing the TV show. He says, “Last year, I completed my graduation with an A grade and had applied for further studies abroad in filmmaking and acting. Around the same time, I got a call for Pushpa Impossible. I gave an audition, but wasn’t too sure if I would be selected, so I started to prepare for my studies abroad as well.”

Darshan, who has also appeared in TV shows such as Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Udaan and Ziddi Dil Maane Na, shares how fate had other plans for him. “I think it was written in my destiny to do this show and I was finalised for this role. I decided to go ahead with Pushpa Impossible instead of going abroad to study. Currently, I am doing my Masters in Filmmaking through a correspondence course. I am shooting and studying daily. It isn’t easy, but I truly enjoy acting and I am able to balance my studies with it,” he adds.

Darshan plays the role of Karuna Pandey aka Pushpa’s younger son in Pushpa Impossible. The actor, who had a small role in the film Gunday, says, “After Gunday, I wanted to explore myself and work on my craft. The script of Pushpa Impossible is connected to my native place Patan in North Gujarat, and my parents also supported me as they had this gut feeling that this was a role I must do. I gave it my best and landed the role.”
