Dada is a great human being: Urmila

The suburban stadium was packed just to get a glimpse of the ever-Rangeela Urmila Matondkar, who was in Kolkata, recently.
We caught up with her on the sets of “Dance Bangla Dance Junior”, on Thursday afternoon, where she shot with none other than Mithun Chakraborty aka Maha Guru. Looking every bit the diva in a lime-green dress, Urmila stole the show with Maha Guru or MG, as he’s better known, by her side.“I am loving every moment. It’s great to see that there are so many supertalented children in this show,” she said, smiling all the while. After the shoot, Urmila danced with MG, the contestants and, of course, judges June and Arpita. “I’m surprised to see that each of the contestents are so matured while they perform. And the choreographers too are so innovative in their creation. they have taken the dance form to a different level altogether,” quipped Urmila.
“Dada is a great human being and beshaq he is the best actor and dancer around!” Mithun, in return, said that Urmila looked like a diva in the song “Rangeela re” and, it is one of his favourites. “I would love to dance with her with “Yeh duniya, tujhko salaam,” said MG. As a parting shot, Urmila said, “I love to be in Kolkata but my schedule doesn’t allow me. Next time, I will make sure that I stay back. On my way to the airport I plan to buy loads of sweets from here.” “Urmila, you rock,” shouted Mithun as she exited the set. Don’t we all agree with MG?
