New comedy show 'Krishan Kanhaiya' on SAB TV explores the journey of a common man and his encounter with Lord Krishna. The show, which premieres tonight, will air every Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm. Kanhaiyalal, played by Nikhil Ratnaparkhi, finds himself in strange circumstances and he wants answers to them from Krishna. The latter resolves them with humour.
Anooj Kapoor, senior EVP & business head of the channel, said, “In our day-to-day life, we encounter instances where we wish and seek reasons behind the causes of certain situations. In this show, Krishna will be seen in a contemporary avatar and will create circumstances which automatically answer such questions posed by Kanhaiyalal.”

As an actor, I am enjoying enacting this role, because in real life there were many questions that I wanted to ask God. And I am doing that in this show.”
Siddharth, who plays Krishna, is doing a comedy show for the first time on TV. He says, “To dress like a contemporary man and yet be the conventional Lord Krishna at heart, is challenging. I have to see that I don’t go overboard and play it convincingly.”
