CID fame Alana Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, Janvi Chheda, Shraddha Musale and Hrishikesh Pandey post a reunion click as the show marks 26 years

Popular TV show, CID recently completed 26 years of the show. Fans have been trending that they want a season 2 of the show with the OG cast. In a recent podcast, Shivaji Satam had also mentioned that they are planning to dive in for a second season. Now, the cast members Alana Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, Janvi Chheda, Shraddha Musale and Hrishikesh Pandey reunited for a video call.

Alana took to her Instagram handle and posted a snapshot from their call, she wrote, "For those who missed them in the podcast... Waiting for all of us to get back to filming together. The team where it feels like family. Miss you, freddy sir." To which Janvi commented, "This is what u get when u wake me up during my afternoon nap."




Netizens had to react to the reunion, a user wrote, "Pls come back together, CID we miss you." There were many such messages by the fans asking the team to come back with the show.

Alana also shared a fun BTS moment reminding the fans of the fun moments that happened while shooting CID, She wrote, "Some post lunch time candid pictures, where we are wearing the same clothes due to the continuity of some episodes."



Alana also described all the pictures that she had posted, "1. Shooting in Naigaon, and @ajay.nagrath being one of the most pleasant personalities trying to crack a joke with the still photographer. @thedayashetty sir is almost ready for the shot. 2. In the Bureau..reading and sitting in some deep thought. 3. rehearsing a scene in Madh, looks like I am on low carbs here trying to look for an assistant director for a quick look at the script."




She added, "4. Green tea time for the most of us, @dineshphadnis sir is sleepy, @thedayashetty sir is busy rehearsing his lines, I am super relaxed as I am operating the computer & I don't have to stand through the entire scene, @ajay.nagrath is definitely up to some mischief."

Fans commented that they missed Freddy aka Dinesh Phadnis. For the unversed, "Dinesh Phadnis passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 57. He was suffering from extensive liver damage and was even on a ventilator for a while. His 'CID' co-stars and fans offered condolences on social media.
