CID cast then and now; Here’s how Daya, Inspector Abhijeet and others look now

TV’s beloved show CID ran on air for the longest time. The show entertained fans for 2 decades giving over 1500 exciting and thrilling episodes. CID first aired in 1998 and continued till late 2018. However, fans still enjoy watching its old episodes. The cast of the show including Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman), Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava, Dinesh Phadnis, Narendra Gupta, Hrishkiesh Pandey and Shraddha Musale became a household name post the show which was a big hit. A few members of the CID cast recently had a mini reunion and it left fans asking for more. Here’s a look at how the CID cast looks now and how much have they transformed.

Shivaji Satam played the iconic and legendary character of ACP Pradyuman in the TV thriller CID. He never disappointed fans with his performance and was loved and known for his on-point dialogues and a killer attitude. Satam might have grown old but still lives young in our hearts. The actor has been seen in several Marathi movies and shows and is currently working on a web series.

Aditya Srivastava aka Senior inspector Abhijeet is known for his intense role and flirty side with Dr Tarika. Over time Aditya managed to make an impact on the audience with his character. Aditya has appeared in several famous movies after the end of CID. Aditya has been a part of Super 30, Black Friday, Paanch and many more famous projects. He was also seen in a prominent role in the recent web series 'Human'.

Dayanand Shetty played the amazing role of Inspector Daya. Daya still has the audience’s heart. Fans knew him for his masculine power, just like ACP Pradyuman said ‘Daya darwaza tod do’. With time Dayanand lost his baby face and has turned into a more mature grown-up but the charm remains the same. Dayanand made an hai debut in Marathi films and appeared in several TV shows thereafter.

Narendra Gupta played the character of Dr Salunke. His character is one unforgettable one. He has been a part of the show for the longest time and fans have loved it beyond words. Besides that, he has been a part of several Bollywood movies like Tu Chor Main Sipahi, Udaan and more. The actor is currently working on the show CIF which airs on Dangal TV.

Shraddha aka Dr Tarika was well known for her beauty in the show CID. Her eternal beauty was appreciated by the cops in the show. The actress has not aged ever since. The CID fame has been a part of several big projects like All The Best, Khidki, etc. She is currently been enjoying her life and keeping her fans updated through the gram.

Dinesh is best known for his role in CID as inspector Fredricks. Not many know the fact that Dinesh has written for several CID episodes. Dinesh's looks might have changed over the years but fans still remember him as Freddy and his funny antics during serious cases. The actor is currently enjoying ‘the’ time of his life and is a part of several projects.

Hrishikesh Pandey managed to make an impact on the audience with his intense personality on the show. The actor is a well-known face and has been a part of several big projects like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke. However, unfortunately, the actor recently faced a hard time when he was robbed and several of his important and expensive stuff went missing.

Ajay Nagrath, who began his journey as a child actor and became famous as Chintu in the hit comedy show 'Shriman Shrimati', was also seen in CID as Pankaj. He was also loved for his funny one-liners in the show. The actor is now seen playing the role of Ram Kapoor's close friend in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
