Since it's the time of Lohri, there's celebration all around. Capturing the festive spirit, television show
Choti Sarrdaarni
showcased its
Lohri special, spanning over a few episodes and introduced a twist in the storyline.
Since the show is set in the backdrop of
Punjab, there was a bonfire and exchanging of gifts among the family. Param (Kevina Tak), Meher (
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
), Sarab (
Avinash Rekhi
) and Kulwant (
Anita Raaj
) were seen in their bright traditional attires.
While celebrating the festival, Meher noticed blood in Param's urine. Unable to inform Sarab about it, Meher took Param to the hospital the next day, where he underwent several tests.
Later, Meher asked Sarab to pick up Param's reports. It was then that Sarab learnt Param has a tumour in his liver. This left Sarab shattered and he returned home. He informed Meher about it. The two were seen in a state of shock.
The upcoming episodes will now see Param being admitted in the hospital and undergoing treatment.
