Asmi said, "I am shooting everyday with Gaurav sir (Khanna) and the shooting will continue. My track is not over."

Her father Abhinay added, "When we heard rumours of a leap, we contacted the makers and found out that as of now there is no truth to these rumours. Asmi will continue to be part of the show for a few more months. There is no information on any leap or whether her track is coming to an end."

The current track portrays how Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) and Anuj are not together and the latter stays with Choti Anu and Maya. Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey) is trying to get Anupama back in his home and Anupama is focussing on starting life afresh with a dance academy.

Asmi plays the adopted daughter of Anuj and Anupama and their separation on the show happened because Asmi went to stay with her biological mother Maya.

In an earlier interview, when we had spoken to Gaurav about the track and his role, he had said, "When a man loses out on his most important relationships, it is natural that he will go through emotional stress. No one is perfect and Anuj is also going through turmoil because he is confused about his feelings for Anupama and why she chose to let Choti Anu go. I feel that it is natural for even a good man to undergo stress or behave in a different way."
