Bade Acche Lagte Hain fame Chahat Khanna has bought herself a luxury brand new car on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. To celebrate the festival of lights and make things grand, the actress purchased Audi A6 and shared a video of the same on her Instagram account. Chahat went with her elder daughter to take the delivery of her new car. Dressed in a denim shorts, crop top and sports shoes, the actress looked chic and stylish.
In the video shared by the actress, Chahat can be seen performing a puja of her new car and also breaking a coconut as part of the tradition. She also cut a beautiful cake along with her daughter, to celebrate the occasion.
While sharing the video on her Instagram account, Chahat captioned it as, "This Diwali got home my black beauty! Happy Diwali to all .."
Chahat, who has been away from Television for a while now, was seen in Sanjay Dutt starrer Prassthanam in 2019 and was recently seen in Yaatris. The actress in an interview had shared that she doesn't have any qualms working on television and she is ready to work in the medium if she finds a suitable character.
She was quoted by an entertainment portal. "I am looking forward to doing TV shows if I get a suitable role. I will be more than happy to do television because that is my backbone. So, I don't want to differentiate in different sizes of screens. For me screen is screen and actors are actors whether it's a TV screen or OTT. There is not much difference."
On personal front, the actress shares a close bond with actor Rohan Gandotra and are often romantically linked with each other. However, they have always denied the news reports.
While talking to ETimes TV, earlier this year, Rohan denied all the reports and said, "Chahat and I are like a family. We work together, we have a company together and we are together almost everyday. We are good friends. I will still maintain that. Things are good and we are pretty much happy together. No, our dating rumours don’t affect us. We are really happy with these rumours (laughs). It doesn’t affect us."
Chahat, who is blessed with two daughter, Amaira and Zohairr has worked in shows like 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain', 'Kumkum', 'Kaajjal' and 'Qubool Hai'.
