Chahat is upset with the police!

Chahat Khanna had a panga with the cops recently.
A few days back after finishing her shoot at around four in the morning, she stopped her car outside her building and started feeding biscuits to some hungry stray dogs. Being a member of an animal NGO and a dog lover, feeding strays is something she always does.
A cop who was on duty at that time saw her car parked with the neon lights on and told her in harsh terms that having neon lights is not allowed and that���s the BMC rule.���I didn���t react to it because now neon lights are legal. Then he saw me feeding the dogs and shouted at me saying that there���s a ban on feeding stray dogs. Being part of an NGO myself I knew that what he was saying was not true. It was just a rumour doing the rounds. There was no ban at all. I told him that.
Then he started saying that if I want to feed dogs, I should take them home. This I couldn���t agree to because I already have two dogs at home. He started yelling and shouting at the top of his voice and said that he will call the police van if I don���t listen. I even told him to keep quiet as the noise would wake up the residents of the building. But he went on talking rubbish trying to throw his weight around and in the end, he did wake up all the residents,��� says the actress, who���s right now seen in a show Ruby on 9X playing the role of Meera.
���Cops many a times try to misguide and mislead people just to gain something out of it. I���ve had a couple of bad experiences with cops,��� says Chahat who���s also worked in shows like Kumkum, Kya Hadsa Kya Haqeeqat, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Jai Maa Vaishno Devi.
