The competition heats up as Chef Ranveer introduces the
Dakshin Express challenge, requiring contestants to replicate a dish. Usha Nadkarni’s dish is undercooked, and Gaurav struggles with timing. The judges later visit a beachside location, where a tiff occurs between Usha and Archana. The promo ends with Farah critiquing Rajiv Adatia and Nikki Tamboli’s Khandvi, questioning his thought process.
Earlier, Celebrity MasterChef introduced a high-stakes Black Apron challenge with a new guest judge, tasking contestants with an overnight cooking challenge. Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh, Kabita Singh, and Gaurav Khanna had to prepare ingredients and leave them overnight using different techniques—Kabita and Faisu with slow cooking, Archana with fermentation, and Gaurav with confit.
The next day, Archana appeared tense over her fermented dough, unsure how to proceed. Kabita admitted her struggles with overnight cooking, while Faisu quickly started his noodles. The judges criticized Archana’s filling, warning that she was at risk of elimination. At the chef’s table, Ranveer Brar deemed one dish unworthy of MasterChef standards.
As elimination was announced, Archana broke down in tears, saying she hadn't wanted to cry, but she couldn’t hold back. Seeing her distress, Usha Tai also became emotional. However, in a surprising twist, Farah Khan revealed that no one would be eliminated. Archana, relieved, realized how much Usha Tai cared for her, making the moment even more emotional.
