Breathless!

When Manish Paul was hosting an awards function recently, his joy knew no bounds when he met up with the beautiful Shilpa Shetty.
Manish is a die-hard fan of the actress. And when he got a chance to interact with her on a one-to-one basis, he was completely besotted by her. In fact, he even got a bit tongue-tied! To lighten things up a bit, he joked that he had better start learning yoga to learn how to relax! He also told her that she should be the next Bond girl and he would not mind playing James Bond.On hearing this Shilpa gave him a friendly pat! ���I must say, that I was very impressed with the way Shilpa responded,��� laughs Manish. ���In fact Shilpa was the very reason why I followed the show Bigg Boss,��� he jokes, adding, ���All my co-actresses whoever I���ve worked with are mostly shorter than me. So if I had to hug them I always had to bend. At least with Shilpa Shetty I won���t have that problem.���
Manish was earlier working in the show Radha Ki Betiyaan kuch kar dikhayengi... but somehow, things didn���t work out for the actor and he left the show. ���The producers and I amicably decided on my quitting the show. I didn���t know what was happening to my track. There was no proper script and as an actor I need something good to give my hundred per cent. So I decided to quit,��� he explains, adding, ���I want to perform something brilliant like I did in the episodic Phir Koi Hai recently. I love to perform and give my maximum to anything I do and not just act like a piece of furniture. If I take up anything on TV, it should be something meaty and worth working on.��� Films are now definitely on his career agenda and offers are there, he tells us, but director Sriram Raghavan (of Johnny Gaddar and Ek Hasina Thi fame) is someone with whom he looks forward to working in the future. Must say, the guy is going great guns indeed!
