Breaking - Mannara Chopra in Bigg Boss 17

As the 17th season of Bigg Boss is set to hit the tube in three days, speculation is rife about the participants. The new edition of the reality show will showcase a mix of celebrity couples and singles. While we already know that Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky (Vikas) Jain, Aishwarya Sharma, and Neil Bhatt (they were last seen in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin) are the two celebrity couples to be confirmed for the show, we have now learnt that Mannara Chopra has been roped in to participate in the show.
Mannara is the paternal cousin of actresses Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. She made her acting debut in Bollywood with Zin in 2014. She has also forayed into South Indian cinema with Sandamarutham, Kaaval, Jakkanna, Thikka, Rogue and Sita. Recently, she was in the news when filmmaker AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary kissed the actress on the cheek at the promotional event for her next film Thiragabadara Saami. The event’s footage has become popular on social media, in which Mannara seems surprised and unsettled by the filmmaker's abrupt gesture. The director was chastised on social media for his stunt, with some calling it a promotional ploy. However, the Zid actress addressed the situation and stated that the pet on the cheek was not intentional.

Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii fame Rinku Dhawan has also been confirmed. She has been part of several television shows like Itihaas, Swabhimaan, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Palampur Express, Rakt Sambandh, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Yeh Vaada Raha, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, and Jaat Ki Jugni: Ek Vishphotak Prem Kahaani. On the personal front, she was married to her Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii co-actor Kiran Karmarkar. However, problems cropped up between them after 17 years of marriage, and they decided to part ways. Their divorce came through in 2019.
