After spending more than three months inside the house, Prince Narula was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss 9 and
Rishabh Sinha was declared the first runner-up.
In a chat with us about his plans for the `35lakh prize money and his equation with the housemates, Prince also speaks about the weight he’s shed in the house - “I have lost 16kg during my stay. Pehle main XL size pehenta tha, lekin ab main medium size pehenta hoon.”
Excerpts:Will be going to Golden Temple to thank God “I am not going to take a break.
I’ll start working soon. I will be going to the Golden Temple and Nakodar Sahib to thank God. Maine maana tha ki main jeet ke aaonga toh main maatha tekne zaroor jaoonga. I went to the Golden Temple before participating in Mr Punjab, Roadies, Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss. I think wohi lucky charm hai, and my mom and dad are also my good luck charms. I am also planning a vacation with Kishwer and Suyyash before their wedding,” he tells us. Ask him his plans for the prize money, and he says, “I have donated `5lakh to Salman Khan’s Being Human. I will buy something for my dad with what’s left.”

I knew that I won’t have to leave because of the lack of audience votes. Even the contestants were scared and didn’t nominate me. In these three-and-a-half months, I was in the danger zone just thrice, and I was made the captain of the house three times, which is an achievement. Sabse zyada main captain raha hoon,” he adds.
I will be spending a lot of time with Nora now Prince has proposed to many girls on national television. In Splitsvilla, he had proposed to Anukhi, and during Bigg Boss, it was Yuvika and Nora. Does he use the strategy of saying ‘I love you’ to stay ahead in the game? “Koi dil todti hai toh iska matlab yeh nahi ki tum try karna chhod do. Everyone thinks that the relationships formed on reality shows are fake. When we came out of Splitsvilla, Anukhi went back to where she came from and we lost touch. Then I came to Bigg Boss and I met Yuvika. I told her that I liked her, but she asked me to focus on the show, and I backed off thinking that I was forcing her. After she left, Nora came and brought a lot of positivity. We actually have a connection. Yuvika is a very good friend now, and I will be spending a lot of time with Nora now so that we get to know each other. Falling in love is quite easy when you are in the house, but you get to know a person only when you step out. Nora and I are alike in quite a lot of ways,” he says. He was also given the title of ‘Emraan Hashmi’ for serial kissing on television. “I love this tag. I used to kiss people when they performed well, and even when they didn’t. I am happy with the tag,” he says.

When I got a call from the show, my sister was more excited than me. I have won three shows back-to-back. My journey started with Mr Punjab, where I was one of the runners-up, and I got a call for Roadies while I was competing there. I then won Roadies and Splitsvilla, and now Bigg Boss. Main sirf dil se khelta hoon. Agar tum dil se kheloge, toh sab kuch theek hoga. My focus will be on acting now. The only exception I might make is Khatron Ke Khiladi. I will start trying for films. Before Bigg Boss, I had signed two shows, so I will take them up,” he tells us.

Kishwer sacrificed her place for Prince. “I think they only showed a small chunk. We had decided that she should exit by taking `15lakh and I would win the `35lakh prize money and saara paisa ghar mein hi aayega kyunki woh meri behen hai. Kishwer told me that I had an advantage because I had won reality shows before this and have a young fan following. Also, I had said that if I win this show, I would get another show with the channel. I credit my win to Kishwer. When it was announced that I’m the winner, I gave the trophy to her. That decision worked for both of us. But Kishwer was the toughest competitor and ussmein show jeetne ka jazbaa tha,” he adds.
READ ALSO:Know all about the grand finale of Big Boss 9I used to hate Suyyash and Kishwer initially In the first episode, when the contestants were being paired, no contestant wanted to pair up with Prince. Talking about it, Prince says, “I told them, ‘Tum logon ne galti kari thi ki bina jaane judge kar liya’. All those people knew each other because they belong to the industry. When they saw me performing the tasks, they were scared. Initially, I used to hate Suyyash and Kishwer because Suyyash asked her not to pair up with me, but inside the house, we bonded really well because we belong to Chandigarh and Kishwer became like a sister to me,” he says.
