Das mentioned that her mother quietly fought till the end with bravery and with grace till the end, despite struggling for a long time. “After a prolonged illness, my mother left this world and found her peace,” she said, before adding, “She fought quietly, bravely, and with grace till the very end. Though my heart feels unbearably heavy, I find comfort in knowing she is finally free from pain. Thank you to everyone who stood by us with prayers, messages, and kindness.” Claiming that watching someone you love suffer changes you, the actress said that she learned strength, patience, and unconditional love.
