The new captain of the house Jiya Shankar has made enemies on the first day of her captaincy. Minutes after she was announced as the new captain, Jiya had problems with Manisha sleeping outside. She ordered Manisha to gather her things from the lounge and get back to the room. At first, Manisha politely kept her point that she couldn't sleep in the room due to the AC. It is too cold for her and she has already fallen ill thrice. Jiya refused to listen to her health issue and asked her to talk to Bigg Boss about it.
Jiya said, "Bigg Boss had never told anyone to sleep anywhere in the house. This is my rule and I am telling you. If you fall ill again then tell Bigg Boss. I don't have any issue if Bigg Boss allows it." Abhishek intervened, "You cannot pull up someone because of their health issue. This is not right Jiya." Bebika adds fire to the fuel by saying, "I have witnessed how AC affects Manisha's health. You are wrong here Jiya."
Manisha tells Jiya, "If you want to prove that you are a good captain then you have the whole week to do that please spare me from this." Jiya got miffed and brought back old matters, "Why did you sleep on Jad's bed that day, you should have slept outside." Abhishek clarified, "That day, all of them wanted Jad outside that is why she had adjusted for one day." Jiya still refused to allow Manisha to sleep outside."
Bebika pounces in the fight and calls Jiya, 'Self-centred', Jiya loses her cool and yells back, "I don't want you in this kitchen duty, I have only given you this duty so I will change your duty. I am still talking to Manisha, stop poking your nose in this." Cyrus tries to calm Jiya but she refuses to listen to him. Cyrus then tells Avinash that Jiya is bullying Manisha.
Avinash and Falaq then make Jiya understand Manisha's health issue and she decides to change her decision. She wanted Manisha to take her belongings from there and make her bed properly. Jiya comes to talk to Manisha again but her 'Torture' line triggers Manisha and they again break into a fight.
Later, Bigg Boss gives Jiya the ration task where she has to divide the food supplies into 7 baskets and rank all the contestants according to their rule break chart. At first, Jiya was baffled about what to do and chose contestants and filled their baskets according to their preferences. She went against BB's rules. Jiya sends Manisha to jail instead of Cyrus. Bigg Boss constantly asked Jiya if she wanted to leave the captaincy as she kept changing the task according to her preferences.
