Aashika Bhatia, a television actress and former Bigg Boss contestant, is dealing with a sad family loss when her father, Rakesh Bhatia, recently passed away.
On Monday, November 25, Aashika posted a nostalgic photo of herself with her father on her Instagram account, captioned "I am sorry. Love you, Papa. RIP." The cause of his demise hasn't been reported.
Aashika is the daughter of Rakesh and Meenu Bhatia. Her parents divorced while she was a child. The actor made her television debut as a young artist on the show Meera, in which she played the protagonist. Aashika also did numerous popular TV shows like Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Parvarishh, Hum Tum and Them, and also made her debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Aashika Bhatia also competed on Bigg Boss OTT 2. She joined the reality television show as a wildcard candidate, alongside prominent YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
The actress was last seen in the TV show Janani- AI Ki Kahani where she played an AI Robot, while sharing about her character and challenges she shared, "My character's name is Chandini. I am Sitara (an AI robot), but not exactly Sitara. I mean, I’m Sitara, but with a different face. It was a bit challenging for me to act like an AI robot. I’ve never done this before, so I wanted to take on this unique opportunity. Especially in a running show, you have to convincingly pretend to be or behave like somebody who is already established in the series. It was quite challenging to impersonate somebody else, but I embraced it."
The actress made a buzz when she lost weight and transformed back into her fitter self. She has been a social media influencer and has been successfully juggling between both acting and her content creation journey.
