Bigg Boss 19's Shehbaz Badesha: Sidharth Shukla was one of a kind, and no one can ever be like him in any way possible
After capturing attention during his cameo in Bigg Boss 13, Shehbaz Badesha, also popularly known as Shehnaaz Gill's brother, has now entered Bigg Boss Season 19 as the first wild card contestant. Born and raised in Amritsar, Shehbaz (age 34) carved a unique path in the digital world with a blend of music, humor, and lifestyle content. With nearly a million Instagram followers and viral videos under his belt, he’s known for his charismatic presence and down-to-earth personality.
This season of Bigg Boss, built around the theme of Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar, promises a battleground where every vote, voice, and choice shapes the house.
Addressing the inevitable comparisons with his sister Shehnaaz Gill, Shehbaz shared, “I don’t feel any pressure as such. I feel proud to be known as Shehnaz’s brother because it’s my own blood at the end of the day. But the audience will support me only if I entertain them, because they’re Shehnaz’s fans. That’s why I’ll entertain everyone my way. Shehnaaz has a different personality, and I’m not here to copy anyone, I’ll play my way.”
Reflecting on the legacy of the late Siddharth Shukla, Shehbaz added, “I can’t ever build on his legacy. He was one of a kind, and no one can ever be like him in any way possible. I will win the show only on the basis of my own personality.”
Shehbaz made an entry on the show in the last night (September 7) episode as the season's first wildcard entry. He had also appeared in the premiere episode but couldn’t join the show after losing the online voting round to Mridul Tiwari. Shehnaaz Gill also joined him on the WKV episode and requested Salman Khan to make him a part of Bigg Boss 19. She also revealed that after the premiere episode, Shehbaz got hospitalised due to Dengue.
With pride in his roots and confidence in his individuality, Shehbaz Badesha is all set to turn the Bigg Boss 19 house into his own stage.
