Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan tells Amaal Mallik ‘I am being accused because I have known you since childhood and people think I will spare you’
The latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19 was packed with high drama as Salman Khan confronted Amaal Mallik about his behavior inside the house, giving him a much-needed reality check.
Salman began by reminding Amaal of his own words about wanting to improve his image through the show. Speaking sternly, he said, “You said you came here to improve your image, but it’s only getting worse. Your father is having to go around apologizing to people. He even apologized to Ismail Darbar. And then the language you’ve been using—abusing at the slightest argument. Even if we mute it, everyone understands what’s being said.”
Addressing accusations from viewers that he goes easy on Amaal because of their close personal connection, Salman clarified, “I am being accused of knowing you. People say I don’t bash you because I’ve known you since childhood. Don’t say sorry because there’s no value to your sorry. When I spoke about you and your brother earlier, neither of you listened. Now, your brother has moved ahead, exactly as I had advised you. You are very talented when it comes to music, but you have issues you need to face. This house is your time to shine.”
Amaal, clearly affected by the conversation, responded earnestly, “I will work on it immediately.”
Salman then shifted his focus to Baseer Ali, reprimanding him for his harsh language towards fellow contestant Pranit. “Baseer, ye gaali aapke baare mein bhi hai,” he said, specifically highlighting Baseer’s insensitive remark telling Pranit to “go back to your village.”
Defending himself, Baseer explained, “It didn’t come like that. He was calling me out on my accent, so I thought he didn’t know the reason for this accent, and that’s why I said go back to your village.”
Closing the discussion, Salman offered heartfelt advice to Amaal and the entire house, saying, “Do not waste your potential. This is the biggest show. Everyone is seeing you 24x7, more than even your family. Me, your parents, Armaan—we all want you to come out as a winner, not just of the show, but a winner in life.”
