Bigg Boss 19: Pranit More picks Shehbaz Badeshah over good friend Gaurav Khanna as the stronger contender
One of the most controversial reality shows on Indian television, Bigg Boss 19 has been making news for ugly fights and shocking eliminations. The show, where dynamics between contestants change from time to time, very rarely witnesses strong friendships. Something similar happened in the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, where Gaurav Khanna proved his friendship towards Pranit More, but the latter did something no one ever expected from him.
This week’s Weekend Ka Vaar was led by Rohit Shetty, who stepped in for Salman Khan. During the episode, the housemates participated in a task involving car props placed on a road-shaped setup. Rohit Shetty asked each contestant to select one housemate they believed deserved to move a step ahead in the game, and another who should take a step back, along with clear reasons for both choices.
When Gaurav’s turn came, he selected Kunickaa Sadanand to move a step back, explaining that she has always played in alliances and should have been sent back long ago. For the contestant he wanted to push ahead, he chose Pranit More, stating that Pranit’s reasoning has always been clear, and even those who once mocked his logic are now appreciating it.
While most housemates picked their friends to move ahead in the task, Pranit took an unexpected route. The stand-up comedian chose Tanya Mittal to move a step back, and for moving ahead, he selected Shehbaz. He explained that Shehbaz has consistently worked on every piece of feedback, earlier his jokes were too loud and sometimes below the belt, but he has genuinely improved now.

For the uninitiated, Gaurav and Pranit More share a close bond in the house and always supported each other in the past. However, the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episodes seem to have created a rift between them after Gaurav was heavily bashed by host Rohit Shetty. Pranit was also asked to focus on his game and not fall for Gaurav's narrative about other contestants.
