Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav Khanna opens up about his struggle with colour blindness; says 'Traffic lights have always been a challenge for me'

Bigg Boss 19 is already making waves with its much-anticipated contestants, and one of the most awaited entries this season has been none other than Anupamaa fame Gaurav Khanna. The actor, loved for his charm and personality, finally made his grand entry on the premiere stage, and it was nothing short of filmy.

Gaurav walked in with full swag to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic track Main Hoon Na. As he entered, the stage lit up while, the actor was flashed the questions, “Bigg Boss 19 ka winner kaun hoga?” and “Adarsh beta kaun hai?” The introduction instantly set the mood for his arrival. Soon after, the song switched to Kisi Ke Haath Na Aayega Yeh Ladka, as already seen in his teaser promo, adding a playful touch to his entry.


Salman Khan, who was clearly excited to welcome him, introduced Gaurav as one of the most awaited contestants of the season. He praised him as a “green flag” not just in reel life but also in real life, pointing out that this is the reason his characters are so adored by fans. At the same time, Salman teased that such roles often put other men in trouble. He then warned with a smile, “Par jab aap ghar ke andar jaaoge, tab aapke asli rang sabko dikhai denge.”

In a lighthearted moment, Salman asked Gaurav what type of flag he thinks Salman. To this, the actor without hesitation replied, “Aap green flag kya, main toh evergreen ho.”

Later followed was a fun segment where Gaurav revealed some fun facts about himself. He shared that he is actually colour blind and even joked about how traffic lights have always been a challenge for him. This unexpected confession left everyone laughing.

The actor then played a game where he had to raise either the red or green flag depending on different traits. The questions included questions like “Joh aapko bohot poke kare”, “Baat baat par rone lage”, and “Jo insecure ho aapko leke.” Funnily Gaurav raised green flag to all the questions while also being very honest about his answers.
