In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav Khanna opened up about his struggles and sacrifices, leaving housemates emotional. In a heartfelt conversation with Mridul, the Anupamaa actor revealed how relentless hustle, personal betrayals, and financial losses shaped his life and career, offering a rare glimpse into the hardships behind his journey in the television industry.

Gaurav recalled his hectic early years, saying, “I used to do a minimum of two shows at a time. There was a time when I once slept while driving a car. I never used to come home; I would sleep in the car, and my driver would complain to my mom that ‘bhaiya is stretching too much,’” highlighting his exhausting work schedule.

Speaking about his lost personal time, Gaurav admitted, “Main kahin ghooma nahi hoon, I’ve not even seen Mumbai properly. I used to work the whole day, hopping from one set to another, getting ready in the car itself. From doing an action scene at one set to a rom-com scene two hours later at another, I was constantly on the move,” showing the cost of his dedication.

Opening up about a painful chapter, Gaurav shared, “In 2014, I suffered a huge loss. A few friends betrayed me and took some money, and 60% of my money went into property losses. I was still a bachelor then.” This betrayal left him struggling financially despite his years of hard work and consistent hustle in the industry.

Gaurav revealed another challenge, saying, “In 2016, just eight days before my wedding, demonetisation happened. I never bought an expensive car because I thought I’ll buy a house for my mom and dad instead.” This sudden change left him under immense pressure during what was supposed to be a joyful period in his life.

Despite the setbacks, Gaurav pushed himself harder. “After that, I started working double. I didn’t want to think, I worked nonstop. I don’t know where my 20 years went,” he said emotionally, emphasizing how his career became his escape and focus after his personal and financial struggles.

On a lighter note, Gaurav admitted feeling different from his younger co-contestants, joking, “When I sit with you guys, I feel like I don’t know a lot of Gen-Z versions.” His honesty brought laughter, balancing the intense emotions of his heartfelt revelation with a relatable, humorous moment in the Bigg Boss 19 house.
