‘Bigg Boss 19’ fame Farrhana Bhatt pens heartfelt note for her late grandfather on his sixth death anniversary, ‘I feel his presence guiding me’

Farrhana Bhatt, who became well-known through her bold journey on ‘Bigg Boss 19’, recently had an emotional moment with her fans. Known for her strong opinions and presence in the house, Farrhana has frequently shared the values that built her resilience. On the sixth death anniversary of her grandfather, she took a break from the spotlight to honor the man who significantly influenced her life and upbringing.

During her stint on ‘Bigg Boss 19’, Farrhana frequently mentioned her close bond with her grandfather. On his sixth death anniversary, she took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a moving tribute that reflected gratitude, love, and longing.


“On the 6th death anniversary of my beloved grandfather, Abu, I honour the way he raised me to be strong, fierce, and full of fire. He did not raise me to be quiet or fragile, he raised me to stand tall, to face life with courage, resilience, and self-belief,” she wrote.

Bhatt added, “Every lesson he gave me, every boundary he set, and every ounce of faith he placed in me shaped the strength I carry today. Life has changed for the better now, and with every step forward and every success I achieve, I feel his presence guiding me.”

Ending the note on an emotional note, Farrhana shared, “I only wish Abu were here to witness how far I’ve come, to see the woman his love and teachings helped create. Though he is no longer by my side, his spirit lives on in my victories, my fire, and the unshakable strength he planted within me. Allah grants him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.”

Farrhana Bhatt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Government College for Women in Srinagar. She later moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and trained at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares. She made her acting debut in 2016 with ‘Sunshine Music Tours & Travels’, opposite Sunny Kaushal.

She gained wider recognition with her role as Jasmeet in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Laila Majnu’ (2018), which also marked Triptii Dimri’s first lead role. Farrhana has since appeared in projects backed by Salman Khan Films, Balaji Telefilms, and Dharma Productions. Her OTT work includes ‘The Freelancer’, ‘Country of Blind’, ‘Heaven of Hindustan’, and ‘India’s Braves’.

Apart from acting, Farrhana is also a national-level athlete and a five-time national medalist in taekwondo, reflecting the discipline and strength she often speaks about.

After 105 days inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, Gaurav Khanna won the trophy and took home Rs 50 lakh. Farrhana Bhatt finished as the first runner-up, while Pranit More secured second place. Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik exited the competition in fourth and fifth places.
