'Bigg Boss 19' contestant Tanya Mittal says she 'felt very lonely and alone'; calls 'Kalpu Kaka' her only friend

On December 7, Sunday, the 19th season of 'Bigg Boss' came to an end, where Gaurav Khanna became the winner of the house trophy and a cash prize. In this race to the finale, he outran four contestants, including Tanya Mittal, who got candid about her emotional journey and how she felt alone in the house.

Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri's friendship was one of the major highlights of the show. However, while speaking to ANI, Tanya mentioned that even with Neelam, her relations were strained. "Whatever relationship I made, Neelam also asked me this question at one point: Do you lie? She was angry and shouted at me," she said.




In the show, she named a tree 'Kalpu Kaka' and highlighted, it was the only true friend she had. She expressed, "I think I could make only one friend, and that is Kalpu Kaka. Big Boss didn't let me bring that tree. If I had friends, then I wouldn't have to talk to objects. I felt very lonely and alone in the house. I don't know, I feel very empty, very lonely, very lost. And I've never lied, I can't lie about it."

She further compared her journey to a "diamond mine," while highlighting that she felt lonely in the house. "I don't know, I feel very empty, very lonely, very lost. And I've never lied, I can't lie about it. I would like to say my journey in one word, I would like to say it like a diamond mine. The journey to get to the diamond makes you completely black, it breaks you inside... I haven't got the diamond yet, but digging it has made me very strong," she said.

When asked about her happiest moment in the house, she had nothing to share. Instead, she said, "I have cried a lot in the show... I can't tell you that any moment made me very happy. Every day, there was a new challenge, and I was asked to do things I hadn't grown up with. I want to just run away. I'm done."

Nonetheless, she believes she never gave up in the show, and that is one strong personality trait that she has. "My strongest quality is that no matter what happens, no matter how broken I am, I don't give up. People come to me every morning to break me," she said before talking about the criticism she faced on social media. "When you're 30, on national television, and everyone calls you a liar...
