Bigg Boss 19: Bigg Boss reprimands housemates for daytime napping, reminds them who’s in charge
The Bigg Boss 19 house was recently given a strong reminder by Bigg Boss himself after several contestants were found breaking one of the oldest rules of the game — sleeping during the day. While this season has been running under the “Gharwalo Ki Sarkaar” theme, Bigg Boss reminded everyone that the final word in the house still belongs to him.
The incident began when Amaal Malik was seen dozing off in the afternoon. Soon after, other contestants including Zeishan Quadri, Tanya Mittal, and Neelam Giri followed his lead and were also caught sleeping. Bigg Boss who noticed this behaviour, decided to take a strict action and reminded the housemates of the discipline, which is expected inside the house.
Bigg Boss later ordered the bedroom lights to be switched off for a full 30 minutes. Contestants were instructed to make use of that time and “sleep as much as they can.” The move was intended to highlight the difference between resting when allowed and breaking rules at odd hours. Once the 30 minutes were up, the wake-up song was played again, and Bigg Boss made it clear that this was now to be treated as the official wake-up call for everyone in the house.
Following this, Bigg Boss addressed the contestants, “Iss baar gharwalo ki sarkaar hai lekin main Bigg Boss hoon, aur aap sab abhi bhi mera hi game khel rahe hain.”
While this year’s theme “Gharwalo Ki Sarkaar” gives contestants the feeling of taking decisions and influencing how to run the house, it is Bigg Boss who continues to hold the ultimate control.
With order restored for now, the big question is how contestants will adjust their behavior going forward. Will contestants follow the rules more carefully, or will Bigg Boss have to step in again with stricter actions. This new rule only adds to the drama and curiosity about how long the housemates can balance their freedom with the authority of Bigg Boss.
