Bigg Boss 19: Amaal Mallik reveals his mom was mistreated by his father Daboo Malik's family while she was pregnant with him; says 'I’ve carried trauma since the womb'
Bigg Boss 19 contestant and Music composer-singer Amaal Mallik's troubled family relations with uncle Anu Malik has always been the talk of the town. Not just this, during the show, Amaal has often claimed that his uncle Anu Malik destroyed his father's career and never let him succeed. In the latest episode during his conversation with Baseer Ali, Amaal opened up about his father's struggle, his troubled childhood and his mother being tortured by her in-laws after marriage.
Amaal started the topic by praising Anu Malik and shared that his grandfather Sardar Mallik's legacy was taken ahead by his uncle. He revealed that the year he made his debut with "Sooraj Duba Hai", his uncle came up with a hit song like 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage'. He then revealed what hurt him about his uncle was his treatment towards his father.
He recalled seeing his father devastated after hearing one of his songs re-used without credit. He said, "I saw my father in a helpless situation, taking confidence pills after years of letting him (uncle) do whatever he was doing, my dad was called to the studio to record a song. Cut to my father went to a music shop at Yari Road, and the song which my father had recorded was playing in that place in Udit Narayan's voice. When my dad asked the shop owner, he revealed that the song is from a three-year-old movie. So, he (Anu Malik) just called my dad for a mock recording. He just took a three-year-old song, put Udit ji's voice on mute and made Daboo feel that he was giving him a chance."
When Baseer asked the reason behind his uncle's behaviour, Amaal called him an evil heart and shared that his father did not recover from the betrayal. He also disclosed that while growing up when they were 14-17, the love for each other was insane. Amaal blamed his aunt behind his uncle's changed behaviour and stated 'wives are a big issue'.
Amaal further shared that his father always told them to always help each other to grow and credited his mom for their success. He said, "Mere baap jaisa dildaar banda aaj bhi nahi."
The Main Hoon Hero Tera composer opened up about a distressing incident from his childhood, recalling an experience with his uncle’s family when he was only seven. He revealed, "Pura Juhu jaam rehta hai and I must be 7 years old, it is a low-line area. This family saw me outside the gate, struggling, crying and the water was till my chest. Their car was parked in front of me and I saw them locking the doors of their car. They left me, just deserted me, there were manholes on the roads. My father's friend's wife saw me, took inside her car and dropped me home. When I was standing, I was waving my hand and I saw my aunt, driver and them inside. They saw me and pressed the door lock. When I returned home and shared the incident, bawaal hogaya ghar par. That's why I'm an aggressive kid. People say, "I abuse a lot, I have a wound trauma boss."

One day, she just smashed her hand on a cupboard in anger. She went through all this to make us reach where we are today."
