The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18, set to air on January 19, promises to deliver high-voltage drama. On their final night in the house, contestants participated in a roast segment organized by Bigg Boss, where they were split into two teams to roast each other. During the heated exchange, Karan Veer Mehra made a comment about Vivian Dsena's daughter, which Vivian found overly personal. The remark infuriated him, leading to a tense clash with the Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 winner.
Karan Veer Mehra, Eisha Singh, and Rajat Dalal formed one team, while Avinash Mishra, Chum Darang, and Vivian Dsena were in the opposing group during the roast segment, judged by Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri. When it was Karan's turn to roast Vivian, he took a dig at him by joking that while Vivian claims everyone knows him, ironically, his own daughter didn’t recognize him in the house. He quipped, “Bachha bachha tujhe janta hai, aur tereko apni bachhi pehchani nahi.”

As Karan attempted to continue with his next lines, the Madhubala actor interjected, saying, "This was personal. What I said earlier was just in good humor." Realizing his mistake, Karan promptly apologized, but Vivian chose to dismiss the apology and remained unresponsive.
Once the segment concluded, Vivian angrily slammed his bottle on the table and stormed off to the washroom to compose himself. As he walked away, he made it a point to remind Karan that his daughter was just 2 years old, emphasizing how hurtful the comment was.
Avinash Mishra and Eisha Singh criticized Karan, calling him a "bekar insan" and expressing their disapproval of his behavior. Avinash further remarked, "Iska asli roop dikhta nahi bahar? Ye dikhata nahi ya cut kar dete hain? Saala kis type ka aadmi hain… (No one sees his real face outside? Is this not aired on television? What type of man he is)."
He also stated that he is controlling his anger in the show, but had Karan done something like this outside the show he would have surely taught him a lesson. "Kasam se control karta hoon main yahan. I swear to God. aise joh log hote hain na mujhe kataye nahi pasand. Mere set par nahi aate. Ye kitna bhi ouncha bane, inse (Vivian) se bada hai. Inse bada toh nahi hai woh. Bhai main bhi junior hoon, main toh iska naam bhi nahi suna tha, inka toh suna hoon."
