Bigg Boss 18: Rohit Shetty announces Nia Sharma as the first confirmed contestant of the Salman Khan hosted show

The grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 took place last night (September 29), with Karan Veer Mehra being crowned the winner. He walked away with a prize of Rs 20 lakh and a brand-new car. Krishna Shroff was announced as the first runner-up. The star-studded finale featured appearances by Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, Bharti Singh, Kashmera Shah, and Nia Sharma, adding extra glamour to the event.

As Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 wraps up, the spotlight shifts to the much-anticipated and controversial reality show Bigg Boss season 18, which is scheduled to premiere next week on October 6. During the thrilling finale of KKK 14, a special moment unfolded with Laughter Chef participants Nia Sharma, Bharti Singh, and Kashmera Shah making a guest appearance for a unique reason.

During the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, host Rohit Shetty made an exciting revelation. He announced that someone present on the set would be joining the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 18. He took the opportunity to make a significant announcement—Nia Sharma is the first confirmed contestant of Bigg Boss season 18. As soon as Rohit Shetty announced her name. while everyone wished her best of luck, the actress looked a bit nervous.

Upon hearing the news, Nia requested former Bigg Boss and KKK 14 contestant Abhishek Kumar to wish her well, and in response, he assured her of his support, saying he would be voting for her.

For the uninitiated, Nia Sharma has been offered Bigg Boss almost every season, but the actress has always turned the offer down. This is the first time that the actress agreed to be part of the show. The Suhaagan Chudail actress had entered the Bigg Boss OTT season 1 house as a guest for a day and her appearance was loved by the audiences.

Bigg Boss 18 is not Nia's first reality show, she has been part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 and Laughter Chefs previously.

Bigg Boss season 18 will be hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan. Other contestants who are expected to be locked inside the house are Shilpa Shirodkar, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Shoaib Ibrahim, Nyraa Bannerjee, Muskan Bamne, Chahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami amongst others.
