Ashneer Grover took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a photo of himself with Salman Khan from the sets of Bigg Boss 18. In a detailed note, he addressed Salman's criticism and reflected on his experience. Ashneer mentioned that he enjoyed being part of the show and hoped the episode featuring him garnered the expected attention. He praised Salman as a fantastic actor and host, acknowledging the star's deep understanding of what works for Bigg Boss. Additionally, he outlined a few points that he claimed to be factual.
In his note, Ashneer Grover clarified that he has never made any derogatory remarks about Salman Khan and has always appreciated the actor for his charisma and business acumen. He stated that the deal numbers he mentioned were accurate and recalled meeting Salman in 2019 for three hours during the shoot of a BharatPe advertisement. Ashneer acknowledged that Salman might not remember him, as he wasn’t a public figure at the time and the actor interacts with numerous people. He also pointed out that his invitation to Bigg Boss was not anonymous, much like the cheque he referred to.

For those unaware, during the Vaghera Vaghera podcast, Ashneer Grover shared that in 2019, he met Salman Khan during a shoot for his brand, BharatPe, and spent three hours with him. However, according to Ashneer, Salman declined to take a photo with him, which left him slightly annoyed. He also acknowledged Salman's business acumen and how the actor is keen on maintaining a clear public image. Additionally, at a university event in 2022, Ashneer mentioned that when he was starting his company with only ₹100 crore in hand, he requested Salman to lower his fees, to which the actor agreed. Ashneer had also mentioned wrong figures which Salman revealed. However, Ashneer also went inside the house and did a fun activity with the contestants.
