Manasvi Mamgai’s name has been doing the rounds as a Bigg Boss 17 contestant even before the show premiered. However, at the last moment Manasvi took a step back and lawyer Sana Raees Khan had stepped in place of her at the premiere.
Now, Manasvi is all set to enter as a wild card contestant in the show.
Manasvi achieved the title of Femina Miss India World 2010 and went on to represent India at Miss World 2010. Before that, she had already won the titles of Miss India Tourism International and Miss Tourism International 2008.
In 2016, she assumed the role of Indian Ambassador to the Republican Hindu Coalition. During this period, she performed at Trump's pre-inaugural Welcome Celebrations held at Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. She attended a lot of the Inaugural functions including Trump's VIP Candle Light Dinner at Union Station.
While she was born in Delhi, her upbringing took place in Chandigarh. Her mother, Prabha, hails from Uttarakhand.
Before turning 15, she had already clinched nearly 50 state and national awards across the domains of dancing, singing, and skating.
In 2014, Manasvi portrayed the antagonist, Marina, opposite Ajay Devgn in 'Action Jackson,' directed by Prabhu Deva. She also made an appearance on the popular Indian comedy show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil' alongside her co-stars from 'Action Jackson.' Her most recent role was in the web show 'The Trial,' starring Kajol and Jisshu Sengupta.
She recently was the winner of the American game show The Price Is Right. She is also an activist, who has been actively working in the RHC Immigration campaign to have equitable treatment of DALCA kids (Deferred Action Legal Childhood Arrivals).
Manasvi has been living in Los Angeles, where she has been pursuing a career in acting and producing.
