Bigg Boss 17: From earning Rs 2000 per day for Pavitra Rishta to taking a stand for ex Sushant Singh Rajput and dealing with trolls; Ankita Lokhande gets candid about her painful past

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande got candid about her struggling days with Pavitra Rishta and also opened up on how she handled the trolls when she stood up for Sushant Singh Rajput after his sudden demise. She revealed how people said, 'Agar Ankita hoti toh yeh nahi hota', Ankita also addressed how she dealt with that painful phase during her breakup and came out strong.

I was completely broke and I had to decide between eating food or going to an audition

I had completed 17 and as soon as I was 18, I was in Mumbai. I was always smart and aware that someone could not fool me. I didn't make fake promises. I knew what I wanted to do. I was 21 years old when I started with Pavitra Rishta. I remember I had a time when I was completely broke and I had to decide between eating food or going for an audition. How long would I ask for money from my parents?

I used to get Rs 2000 per day for Pavitra Rishta in 2009

I used to get Rs 2000 per day in Pavitra Rishta when I started in 2009. I had this feeling of seeing Rs 50,000 for the first time in my account. I had never seen such a huge amount back then and this was my first pay cheque. It is very important for the family to support me on this journey. My parents were there for me despite people taunting them.

People said, 'Ab kya hoga Ankita ka?'

I again had that zone where I was left alone. People asked, 'Ab kya hoga Ankita ka? Kaun karega mujhse shaadi?' My parents stood by me and gave me strength. I was so depressed after the end of 7 years long relationship. We were totally shattered. We were in a relationship ever since we began with the show, it affected me a lot when he left.

5/9

I wanted to take a stand for him

Munawar shared that he had made a video on how the internet trolled Ankita and how harsh they were on her. Ankita shared, "I was not involved in that matter but I stood up because I wanted to take a stand for him, he was mine at some point and I wanted to show it to people that the man I knew was this and not what people were portraying him as."

6/9

Log tab kahan the jab mera breakup ho raha tha

People judged me and said such harsh things. I have always questioned myself that these people are either blaming me or saying, 'Agar Ankita hoti toh aisa nahi hota', yahi log tab kahan the jab mera break up ho raha tha. They were not there, they didn't tell him that he should stay with me. I went through that breakup phase alone.

7/9

He suddenly disappeared, there was no reason for breakup

There was no reason for the breakup. I was blank, everything turned upside down in a night. It was a sudden breakup. See when you are growing in your career people tell you a lot of things. It was his matter and I didn't stop him. It was his life and I cannot control it. My only concern was that he should have told me then I would have been a bit prepared to take it. He suddenly disappeared.

8/9

I could see it in his eyes that this was over

There were fights, even I have fights with Vicky. There was no reason as such, I never tried to know. I could see it in his eyes that he doesn't want me. I realised that this is over. That feeling is not left. It is the worst feeling ever, I understood this was the end of our relationship and that was the last time I saw him.

9/9

It taught me how to fight alone

I am glad that this happened to me, it taught me how to stand on my own. It taught me how to fight alone and get confident. Vicky is my world but in this show, I am learning that I am an individual and the world is around me.
