Bigg Boss 14: Jaan Kumar Sanu's 'Marathi' remark creating stir to Rahul Vaidya's 'nepotism' comment; a look at controversies that shook social media

Bigg Boss 14 has become more interesting after the exit of the seniors Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan. The real personalities of the respective individuals are coming out. Eijaz Khan discussed his past life with Sidharth Shukla, where he spoke about how his girlfriend wanted to marry him after being in a live-in relationship. Upon his refusal, she tried to accuse him of rape, due to which, he had to leave Mumbai and shift to Dharamsala. Host Salman Khan tried to tell Eijaz that if he does wrong, he'll be shown wrongly and asked him to take a stand for himself. Later, he was also seen telling the seniors that the same girl threatened of filing a dowry case against him and his family if he didn't marry her. Nikki Tamboli and Rahul Vaidya were seen conversing in their native - Marathi language in front of Jaan Kumar Sanu. This irked the latter as the trio is already going through serious trust issues in the house. He warned them of not speaking in Marathi in front of him and said that it annoys him. This comment made by Jaan created a stir and many celebrated celebrities from the Marathi cinema, too, tweeted about it. "Marathi mei mat baat kar, mere saamne mat baat kar, merko chidh hoti hai. Sunaauga terko, mere saamne Marathi mei mat baat kar. Dum hai toh Hindi mei bol warna mat baat kar, chid machti hai merko (Don't speak in Marathi in front of me, it annoys me. Speak in Hindi)," said Jaan Kumar Sanu. The channel also issued an apology from their side and later Jaan was reprimanded by Bigg Boss for hurting the sentiments of Marathi community. During the nomination task, Jaan Kumar Sanu nominated Rahul Vaidya, and this irked the latter. He told Jaan that he is merely a product of nepotism. Other television actors present inside the house took a stand against this comment and told Rahul that Bigg Boss house isn't a place where usage of words such as "nepotism" should be made. Rubina Dilaik, Pavitra Punia took a strong stand against it. While some users hailed Rahul for speaking about it, others questioned his sensibility. Jaan, later said that his parents got separated when he was quite young. And, it was only recently when his veteran singer-father Kumar Sanu found potential in him and decided to back him. In an exclusive chat with ETimes TV, Jaan’s mother got emotional and slammed Rahul for using Kumar Sanu’s name to gain publicity. "I am very hurt that on national television in front of so many people, Rahul Vaidya so easily said that Jaan is a 'nepo kid'. He discouraged his hard work that he has done to reach here. I am sure he knows about Jaan’s hard work. If Rahul Vaidya seriously hated nepotism he could have mentioned about it on the first day itself that he doesn’t want to be a part of the show. He has been on the show with Jaan for three weeks now, they became friends, they spent good time with each other and suddenly after a small friction he has realised that Jaan is a nepo kid. During one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, Salman Khan called Rubina Dilaik's actor-husband Abhinav Shukla 'saamaan,' and this made the Shakti actress very angry. She howled and cried for the language used for her husband, and complained to Bigg Boss that how could Salman Khan used such a word for him. Bigg Boss made her understand that he just tries to lighten the mood of the contestants and audience in his own style during Weekend Ka Vaar and it should be taken sportingly. Host Salman Khan, the next day asked Rubina to get famous on her own, and not use his name. He also said that because of that little push, Abhinav is doing well and is seen in the house now. New captain Kavita Kaushik, upon her entry, said that nobody even registered the word "saamaan," unless she made an issue out of it.

During the farmland task, Shehzad Deol and Nishant Singh Malkhani indulged into a fight, and the former called him a 'eunuch'.
