Bigg Boss 13: From being aggressive with housemates to showing protective side for Shehnaz; a look at Sidharth Shukla's journey

Sidharth Shukla is one of the biggest faces of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13. The actor has often been mired in controversy due to some or the other reasons. Likewise was the case for Sidharth Shukla inside the Bigg Boss house too. He cannot take false accusations and fights for it till no end. A testimony of which could be seen in a few tasks and incidents in the house. 'You set the bar, I'll raise the bar' is the line often used by Dil Se Dil Tak actor whenever he had to defend himself for his aggressive behaviour. There were already reports of Sidharth Shukla being quite aggressive and a person who has anger management issues. His aggressive and uncool side has been shown to the audience during his murky fights with fellow contestants Asim Riaz and Rashami Desai. There have been instances where he has pushed Asim during the tasks after allegedly being provoked. When Rashami threw a cup of tea on Sidharth for constantly using the word 'aisi ladki' for her, he got into a scuffle with Arhaan Khan where the latter's shirt was torn completely. Rashami Desai and Vishal Aditya Singh had robbed pasta from the luxury budget items and this came to everyone's notice. After this incident, Sidharth kept calling her 'chor'. If this wasn't enough, Rashami also hid tea powder to preserve it for future use. Upon singer-judge Himesh Reshammiya's special entry, she was asked to bring the tea powder that she hid. After this, the 'chor' comment was again highlighted. He also called his former co-actor 'jhooti' for spreading false rumours about him related to the show and otherwise. In fact, the latest episode has him say that he really liked her once upon a time but after an article that portrayed Sidharth negatively, he lost trust in her. Sidharth Shukla's flirtatious side was seen when he started interacting with Devoleena Bhattacharjee. Initially, he had conflicts with her as she played from Rashami Desai's team. Sidharth flirted with the Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actress but that never hampered her relationship with 'friend' Rashami. In the four-month long journey, Sidharth Shukla suffered from typhoid and despite the illness, he participated in one of the tasks. He was kept under medical attention but the actor was hospitalised to get back to being healthy. Sidharth rang in his birthday at the hospital and during Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan made a video call to the actor to wish him and send across messages sent by fans. Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaz Gill's cute chemistry and banter has undoubtedly been one of the major highlights of this season. Shehnaz revealed multiple times that she loves him and he is more important for her than the trophy. Shehnaz and Sidharth share the same bed and her possessive and ignorant behaviour always irked Sidharth. Due to which, they fought many times but managed to patch up. Sidharth did not like when other contestants influenced or manipulated her for their own good. For instance, when Himanshi Khurana re-entered the house as Asim's connection, she said that she is the top most actor. This bothered him and he yelled at Shehnaz saying how could Himanshi use these words. Those who have followed the season will know Sidharth's trivia of walking around the whole house in shorts, especially the grey one. When his mother Rita Shukla entered the house during the family episode, she asked him to take shower early morning and wear full pants. Sidharth Shukla and Paras Chhabra were at loggerheads when they joined the house. However, they developed an organic bond after they were kept in the secret room together.
