Srishty Rode is a celebrity contestant in
Bigg Boss 12
. Born and brought up in Mumbai, the 26-year old actress was bitten by showbiz bug when she was quite young.
While Srishty's mother is into Buddhism, her father Tony Rode was director of photography. She used to accompany him to shoots and wanted to become an actress herself. Despite working in the entertainment industry, her father was against the profession.

Srishty has done several shows on TV including Yeh Ishq Haaye,
Chotti Bahu
, Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed, Saraswatichandra, Ishqbaaz among several others. She is now an established star and popular in the TV circuit.
The actress is engaged to
Manish Naggdev
, an actor, and she met him through a common friend.
The two have been in a relationship for over three years. Last year on their roka ceremony, Manish had told The Times Of India, "We wanted to keep it brief and simple; some good wine and food. Though we'd planned to have our roka on Valentine's Day, our family pandit said the following day was more auspicious.
Srishty has several friends from the industry, but her relationship with Shakti actress
Rubina Dilaik is the most dear to her. Rubina, in fact, accompanied Srishty for the grand premiere night of Bigg Boss 12.
Rubina also revealed that Srishty has a weird habit of walking in sleep and warned the inmates beforehand about it.
