Bigg Boss 11: Could Puneesh Sharma be the unlikely winner? A quick look at his journey so far

Bigg Boss 11 threw a lot of surprises for the viewers as a few of its twists and turns were highly unpredictable ones. If you have been following the reality show closely you would agree with the fact that the commoners gave a tough competition to the celebrities in this season. Speaking of commoners, Puneesh Sharma is one contestant who rose to a celebrity status within the house.His ascension through the ranks was a gradual process. Let's take a look at the highlights of his Bigg Boss journey.
Puneesh Sharma's affair with contestant Bandagi Kalra is undoubtedly the most notable highlight of his stint on the show. The two of them got too close to comfort and their open display of affection ruffled the feathers of a few of the contestants in the house. The inmates were very vocal about the discomfort that they felt with the way these two were carrying on under one roof. But, Puneesh and Bandagi threw caution to the wind and did what suited them the most. The intimate nature of the bond, that they developed on the show, was one of the talking points of Bigg Boss 11 during its initial days. With Bandagi gone, everyone was quick to jump to the conclusion that Puneesh's days in the house were not shortlived but he sprung a surprise by managing to hold his position.
His alleged affair with Bandagi shot up his popularity and this, in a way, cemented his position in the show. It gave him an identity which he would have struggled to establish had he not got involved with Bandagi. It is still unknown if this was just a publicity stunt by the two of them to come into the spotlight or was there some truth in what the viewers witnessed on the small screen. One thing is for certain, there's nothing called a 'bad publicity'.
Puneesh was smart when it came to forming alliances. He struck new friendships with ease. He got along with well Hina Khan and Vikas Gupta barring a few skirmishes, which are unavoidable if one is fighting for the Bigg Boss title. The fact that he has managed to survive without going through any major incident is an achievement enough. All in all, he has been smart in maintaining an equanimous equation with most as in doing so he has managed to survive this long.
Puneesh Sharma's proactive approach towards the Bigg Boss tasks is another plus point that worked to his advantage. He was one of the most active members of the luxury budget task. He was also very open when it came taking a stand and this streak of honesty can get him a few brownie points.
On the downside, his volatile temper is one thing that stood out in his dealings with the other inmates of the house. At a few points in the game, he came across as a stubborn person who refuses to consider another's viewpoint.
