Actor Bharat Narang, who portrays
Veer Pratap Singh in the television drama Dahej Dassi, finds an uncanny resemblance between his on-screen role and his real-life persona. In the show, Veer Pratap Singh is a wealthy, stylish young man who enjoys the luxuries of life but is unwaveringly devoted to his sister. Interestingly, Bharat shares the same deep bond with his sister in real life, making his portrayal even more natural and heartfelt.
Talking about their close relationship, Bharat shares, "My sister lives in Delhi while I am in Mumbai for work, but the distance has never affected our bond. I always consult her before making any decision, big or small. Whether it’s buying clothes, accessories, or gadgets, I video call her to get her opinion. She just knows what suits me better than I do."

The actor fondly refers to his sister as his "Home Bank" and his biggest support system. He adds with a laugh, "She has always been my guiding force. Whenever I am confused or need advice, she is the first person I turn to. It’s like having a human diary who knows everything about me."
Bharat firmly believes that sibling relationships are among the strongest bonds in life. "Even though we live in different cities, she is always present in my life in one way or another. From childhood memories to my journey in the entertainment industry, she has played a major role in shaping my personality. I trust her judgment completely."
It is this very connection that makes playing Veer Pratap Singh come naturally to him. "When I step into Veer’s shoes, I don’t have to act like a doting brother—I already am one!" he says with a smile.
