International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th every year, is a significant occasion to cherish women's achievements and advocate for gender equality. It emphasizes the need to dismantle systemic barriers that hinder women's progress. This day champions the cause of diversity and empowerment, resonating with the values of honoring and appreciating women's invaluable contributions. In light of this special day, Aishwarya Khare from Bhagya Lakshmi talks about the importance of women in our life.
Aishwarya Khare who essays the role of Lakshmi in Bhagya Lakshmi said, “Women’s Day for me is a celebration of strength, beauty, and grace the women reflect in everyone’s lives. I have been brought up around many women in my life, we are 4 women in the house, and honestly, the only man in our lives, my dad, has always been very supportive, and respectful towards us. He has given us an immense amount of love and freedom to do anything and everything we ever wanted, by always having our back. I believe that women are the backbone of society."
She further added how she makes the day special for women around her, "Every year I make a small gesture for all the lovely women around me, just to acknowledge all that they do in their power and appreciate them. Being a woman myself, I can say that we appreciate the little things, the gestures, be it buying them flowers, food, or cooking a meal for them, we value all of it. This Women’s Day, I wish every woman in the world is blessed with all the love, light, and happiness they deserve.”
