‘Best friend, protector, critique, guru’: Throwback to when Karan Kundrra shared an emotional birthday note on father SP Kundrra’s birthday

Karan Kundrra has never been the kind of celebrity who hides behind perfectly polished posts. He lets people see the real him, the son, the partner, the man behind the fame. He continues charm his audience with his vibrant energy on ‘Laughter Chef Season 3,’ and remains fondly remembered for shows like ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ and ‘Dil Ke Fasle’. But there was a moment in back December 2023 which felt especially personal. On his father S.P. Kundrra’s birthday, Karan dropped the celebrity filter and spoke simply just as a son.

As soon as the post went live, fans and industry friends flooded the comments with love. Many affectionately called his father “Papa Kundrra,” while others praised the bond Karan shares with his parents. Professionally, Karan continues to stay in the spotlight. He is currently seen in Season 3 of ‘Laughter Chef’ alongside Tejasswi Prakash and is also gearing up to co-host MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla X6’ with Sunny Leone, which premieres on January 9, 2026, at 7 PM on MTV.
