It is time for fans of
Barun Sobti and
Sanaya Irani to rejoice as a re-run of their hit TV show
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon
shall start from tonight (January 7).
The show made Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani small screen's most favourite jodi in no time. While the former played an angry young man on the show, the latter was seen as the bubbly, girl-next-door.
The channel announced the news on its official Twitter handle a few days ago and wrote, "Back on popular demand... Time to relive the love story of Khushi and Arnav! #IssPyaarKoKyaNaamDoon, Starting from 7th Jan, Mon-Fri at 4pm."
Another teaser posted by the channel saw Barun getting all emotional as he reminisced the good old days spent shooting for the show.
The popular show had three seasons. The second saw
Shrenu Parikh and
Avinash Sachdev as leads, while the third saw Barun Sobti opposite
Shivani Tomar
. However, both the seasons did not live up to the expectations of the audience and were taken off air in no time.
It will be interesting to see how fans respond to the re-run of the show this time around.
