TV actor Gunjan Utreja was recently in Delhi to shoot for an upcoming travel show Spirit Of India. He told us, “Maine aaj tak kabhi Dilli ki subah nahi dekhi 4 baje uthke. I woke up in the morning since we had a shoot planned. We shot at India Gate at 4.30am! We were waiting for the sun to rise. I have seen India Gate so many times, but when the sun rises, the whole experience is phenomenal.
If someone is in Delhi, they have to see the sunrise at India Gate. It just kind of awakens the whole patriotic feeling and the fact that so many people laid down their lives.

But I think even the Lajpat Nagar momos are a part of history. Many people might say they are unhygienic, but I feel there’s a different flavour in them. And when you are in Delhi, you need to have the bantewaali shikanji for sure,” he said. “Every time the cameraman would go around looking for places where they could get best shots, I would find a street food joint and start eating something – either golgappas or chhole-kulche.”
