Stand-up comedian, actor and writer besides being a TV host,
Balraj Syal, who was recently seen in the TV reality show, '
Khatron Ke Khiladi
' (KKK) where he was among the top four contestants, was recently in Punjab to spend some
quality time
with his family before returning to Mumbai. On his final days of his stay in the state, he also visited the
Golden Temple
in Amritsar.
Balraj says that last year, and in many ways this year too, have been important to him personally and professionally. During the span, he has been part of KKK,'
Mujhse Shaadi Karoge
' and 'Apna News Aayega'. He also turned entrepreneur and released his maiden song, ‘Shukar Kar’, which was a tribute to actor, Sonu Sood for his contribution towards migrant laboruers in the lockdown, and all the frontline workers working selflessly during the pandemic. With important milestones in his life being ticked off, Balraj wanted to express his gratitude to the almighty, thus his visit to the Golden Temple.
Says Balraj, "It is important for us to thank god whenever we can. I visit the Golden Temple during every visit to the city. These are testing times and we’ve all been through a lot, in times like these I attain peace and quiet whenever I go to the temple.”
While Balraj was in Punjab he also seems to have caught up with other colleagues from the Punjabi entertainment industry. He posted pictures with Punjabi comic and character actor,
