Balraj Syal makes song as tribute to Sonu Sood

Stand-up comic and actor, Balraj Syal has made a song as a

tribute

to Sonu Sood's efforts at helping

migrant labourers

in the pandemic. The track, 'Shukar Hai' features Bharti Singh, Harsh Limbachiyaa,

Prince Narula

, Yuvika Chaudhary, Kishwer Merchant,

Suyyash Rai

and Yuzvendra Chahal. Sonu is also the part of the music video and the revenue generated from the song will be donated to his charity. The song has been sung by TV actor-turned-singer, Suyyash Rai along with Deepti Tuli and Oye Kunal.
Says Balraj, "It's a small contribution from our end to support Sonu paaji. He has single-handedly helped so many people to reach their hometown in this difficult time, this is least we can do for him. The song is a special tribute to him and he has loved the track. I am hopeful people will also appreciate the track for its message."
A source adds, "The crux of the song is that people who have a roof over their head and food in their plates should be thankful to the Almighty rather than complain about boredom and monotony. There are millions who don't have this luxury and those who do, must do everything they can to help the needy.”
