Balika Vadhu is back with season 2; watch first promo of the show

Television's much loved show Balika Vadhu is all set to return with Season 2 soon. The first promo of the season has been released by the channel, and it centers yet again around the evils of child marriage.In the promo, a little girl, who is dressed in a colourful attire is called beautiful and a woman says that they need to find a 'nanha rajkumar' for her.The channel on which the show will air captioned the new teaser as, "Baal vivaah wo kupratha hai jo aaj bhi samaaj mein jeevit hai! Isko mitaane ke liye janm liya hai ek nayi Anandi, ek nayi Balika Vadhu ne. Balika Vadhu Season 2 jald hi aa raha hai."Take a look:This time around the show will star young actors Shreya Patel of Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha fame and Vansh Sayani, who has done Baal Veer, in the lead roles.The shooting for the show has already begun in Rajasthan. The team is, however, expected to move to Mumbai soon.Just like the previous time, Balika Vadhu 2 will be similar. Anandi will get married at a young age, and then try to adapt to her new life. Season 1 saw Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee in the lead roles of Anandi and Jagya.Their grown-up parts were played by Pratyusha Banerjee and Shashank Vyas. After Pratyusha left the show, Toral Rasputra was seen essaying Anandi's part.
