Ashutosh Gowariker shoots for TV fiction

Ashutosh Gowariker's TV show is rolling. The actor-turned filmmkaer had been working on it since eight months. The show is titled Everest.

According to a source, "It is a fiction show but not a saas-bahu one. It’s completely original and conceptualised entirely by Gowariker. The show will go on air in a couple of months.”
In the past, many filmmakers have made shows for television, including Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap.

After his last release, a Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey (2010), a pre-Partition period film starring Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, Gowariker has kept a low profile. Reportedly, his next film is set in the ancient town of Mohenjodaro.
